2023 Highlights
Edward Kellett's Reaching a Verdict charted in Amazon's Top 100 Television History & Criticism books, peaking at #6. On the week of the book's release, Edward was interviewed live on BBC Sussex and by Yahoo! for an article about the 40th anniversary of Woodentop.
Oliver Crocker will be signing copies of All Memories Great & Small during a special Open Day hosted by Maison Parfaite at Skeldale House in Askrigg, the iconic building used for exterior filming in the BBC series. Joining Oliver will be Rosie Page (daughter of the real James Herriot) and Paul Lyon (Jimmy Herriot).
2022 Highlights
Oliver Crocker signed copies of Witness Statements: Making The Bill 1988 at London's historic Cinema Museum, where he joined some of The Bill's most legendary actors for The Bill Reunion 7. The book charted in Amazon's Top 100 Television Biographies, peaking at #62. The book received positive reviews from We Are Cult and Archive TV Musings and Oliver was interviewed on Cult Connections
Oliver was interviewed about All Memories Great & Small by Christine Talbot and the late Harry Gration live on stage, alongside director Tony Virgo and production manager Michael Darbon, at York's Theatre Royal for A Grand Yorkshire Night Out. Oliver was also interviewed alongside actors Alison Lewis (Rosie Herriot) and Paul Lyon (Jimmy Herriot) for a special 4-page article by The Yorkshire Post
2021 Highlights
The expanded edition of All Memories Great & Small was published and charted in Amazon's Top 100 TV Biographies, peaking at #16. Oliver was joined by members of the cast and crew for two special signings in Thirsk to launch the book, at both The World of James Herriot Museum and White Rose Books, where the book sold out! Press for the book included BBC Suffolk, The Yorkshireman and The London Post
2020 Highlights
Devonfire Books launched in October 2020, when our author Oliver Crocker was interviewed alongside The Bill legend Larry Dann (Sgt. Alec Peters) on BBC Surrey to promote the publication of Witness Statements: Making The Bill (Series 1-3) A further interview on BBC Devon followed, where Oliver was joined by another Sun Hill legend, Jon Iles (DC Mike Dashwood).
